True Love

I didn't start scrapping until my daughters were in high school. So I definitely do not scrap in chronological order! Here lately I have been going thru my daughter's baby photos and scrapping some of those. Here are a few of the pages I have come up with.

This layout is of my oldest daughter Jade when she was a little over a year old. Look how cute she was! Oh, how I long for the days when they would wear what I picked out for them. This paper is Basic Grey that I have for the background. I have matted my photo with cardstock and added a cute journal spot in the shape of a scalloped circle. The butterfly accent on the journal spot is acrylic and has been stamped and inked on the back. The title I cut on my Cricut machine and I used the negative for the accent between the photos. The photo mats were sewn, as was the background paper to the underlying cardstock. I love the visual texture that sewing gives a page. I added some Prima Flowers trimmed with buttons from the new Cosmo Cricket line. The beautiful crocheted flower in the corner was made by my wonderful friend Sandyvint on Ebay, who is kind enough to crochet me the most luscious flowers ever for my layouts and projects. I finished the page with a little hand doodled border across the bottom, and I can't ever do a page without a little bling - so I added some sweet little rhinestone flowers in the corner to match the page.
