At this Moment

Hello all my blogging friends! Today I have a LO that I was hoping to enter over at
the Once Upon A Sketch Blog but I always get confused with
the international timelines, and I missed the deadline! I will get it next time I swear!
Here is my LO, it is one of the pages for my DD's graduation album,,,,

These are my favorite shots of her from the weekend. I was making adjustments
to my camera and she started acting silly - and I got exactly the shots
I was trying to get all along. I love the look on her
face - it says everything about her personality.
I have used Bazzill cardstock and all of my PP's are MME.
My embellies are Prima, Unique Pages, Martha Stewart, and some others from
my stash. I have sewn my mats and such using my sewing machine and
I have done a little doodling too.

Here is a look at the sketch from Once Upon A Sketch
I have turned it into a 2-page 8.5 X 8.5 LO to fit my album.

Thanks for stopping by my blog - please leave me a comment,
I love to know what you think about my LO :)
I hope you are making wonderful plans for
the long holiday weekend. Have a GREAT 4th!

ColourQ #91 Color Palette

Hello all my blogging friends. I am finally back from Girl Scout Camp
and back to myscrapbook table. I sure do miss my
paper when I am away :0)

Today I have for you my DT challenge for ColourQ   I have used pics from my
DD's graduation party ~ Alice in Wonderland was our theme~ so some things will
be a little out of placein this book. Here is my LO.......
I have used papers from Bo Bunny and Lily Bee, cardstock from Bazzill, my embellies are from Prima, Maya Road, Websters, Basic Grey, Heidi Grace, Ranger, and the cute little crocheted stars are from my sweet friend SandyVint ( you can find her ebay listing HERE )
Here are our colors this week from ColorQ

As I don't own a single grey item in my entire house, I went with plain chipboard letters for the grey element, and embellished them with with white Enamel Accents from Ranger. Love how they turned out!

For the banner, I had some triangle shaped acrylic tiles, I stamped the letters on the front, then inked the back with White Cotton StazOn for more definition. I added cute little red bows - voila!
I am also entering this LO in the following challenges......
Sketchy Thursdays and here is the sketch this week..

Sketches in Time  where it is is Open Challenge this week.

Paper Issues  the challenge is Red, White and Blue

Thank you for stopping by my blog today and having a look! Have a wonderful week.

Scallywags

Hello everyone in blogland!
I hope you are getting ready for a wonderful weekend
Today I have a LO I am entering over at Sketchy Thursdays
for the July GDT challenge. Here is my LO,,,

This was such a fun LO -I have used DCWV and LYB papers, along with Bazzill
cardstock. My embellishments are all random things from my stash.

Do you see the cute little see horse? I bought that so long ago, I knew that
someday I would need him for a LO  :0) ! I have thrown down
a net (made by Dusty Attic) and caught some pretty sea glass in it.

Here is the sketch I have used,,,
Thanks so much for stopping by! Have a great weekend.

ColourQ # 89 / Courage

Hello everyone in blogland.
Today I have my DT post for ColourQ - the
colors this week were really wonderful and
easy to work with. The photo I used is an old
everyday photo of my grandmother Gussie - I
don't even know who took it.
Here is a look at my LO,,,
I have used my mini pad from Lily Bee designs for this as well
as Bazzill cardstocks. My embellies are from The Girls Paperie,
Prima, Maya Road, Ranger, Martha Stewart, Heidi Grace and Basic Grey.

Here is a look at this weeks color palette from ColourQ

Arielle does such an amazing job of picking the colors for us!
Please stop by the   BLOG   and take a look at the wonderful
projects made by the other ladies.

I am also entering this in the challenge over at  Scrapbookers Anonymous   as
I have used 3 sheets from my mini pad. I have also
used a sketch from  Stuck On U Sketches for this LO.
Also,    Once Upon A Sketch   where the challenge was to
journal at least two sentences about a female on your page.

I hope you are having a great week so far.
Thank you so much for stopping by my blog! I love to hear your feedback,
so please leave me a comment!

Finally Finished - Wedding Album

OK, I am finally, absolutely, truly - DONE! I started my wedding album last year, and I got all the photos in the album I made, and I bound the album together, but I didn't finish embellishing it, because I had to move onto another project. So I finally got it back out, and it is finished! What inspired me,,,, the new Paper Issues topic - WEDDING! Here are the photos,,,,

For all of the above I have used Teresa Collins papers, Bazzill cardstocks, BasicGrey stamps and buttons, Prima flowers and a variety of trims and ribbons from my stash.

If you want to see the other pages ~ the ones I finished last year ~ go here  .
Thanks for stopping by and having a look :)

Sketchy Thursdays and Color Combos Galore

It doesn't seem like a week since I posted last, mmmm, where does time go these days? It seems to fly by faster and faster every year! I finally had some time to scrap today and I am so happy about it! I miss my little room :0)

Today I have a LO that is a little, well ~ flatter~ than my normal style. I tend to pile the embellies on and my pages end up thick and chunky. I decided to try something a little different, and although it isn't what I am used to, I like how it turned out.
I have used Bazzill's Two Scoops and regular cardstock and Basic Grey paper. My embellies are from Tattered Angels, K&Co and MAMBI. The only other thing I did was a little sewing.

I have used the sketch over at Sketchy Thursdays for this LO and an older color palette from Color Combos Galore #191

Thanks for stopping by and I hope you have a wonderful week :)

Graduation Party - We survived!

Well, we all survived the Graduation Party here and life will maybe return to normal!
It has been a whirlwind of a week and I have had no time for scrapping :(
I am very sad to say. I have been busy making party favors and party cake,
so I thought I would share a few pics of those.

Our theme was Alice in Wonderland, and so my DD wanted something a little over
the top for her cake. She picked the BRIGHTEST colors for her flowers and decorations!
I really thought they would look horrible when it was all assembled,
but it turned out pretty cute.

Our centerpieces were all different, this one was my favorite :)
Our favors were drink bottles with "Drink Me" tags attached and
jars of M&M's with "Eat Me" tags.  Simple and cute.

For the cake table I pinned silk daisies to the table cloth in a random pattern
so that it would (hopefully) look like they were sprinkled over the table.
One of the party favors - we mixed several kinds of jars and filled
them with M&M's. The tags I cut on my Cricut.

The DD of one of my bestest friends. Of course as a teenager,
texting is much more important than dancing with us !

And last but not least, the girl of honor there in the center with one of
her roommates from college and the co-conspirator from next door.
We had white rabbit ears in honor of the White Rabbit to use as photo props.

I hope you enjoyed this tour of my party.
I really hope that I can get back to scrapping again now that graduation
and the party are over!

Thanks so much for stopping by my blog, and have a super week!
