Lost Loves | The Flamingo Chronicals: Lost Loves

Lost Loves

Today I have a LO made with the new Bo Bunny Enchanted Papers- I love how the black
and white let me stack layer upon layer and they all melded together.
I have used an OLD photo of my Daddy and my Grandmother, both of whom are no longer with us.
Here is my LO
Aren't these papers beautiful???? I really wanted to have some space
between the layers, so I used foam tape to separate them all.
My embellishments are from Maya Road, May Arts. Martha Stewart crafts, Prima
and some random items from my stash.
I fussy cut one sheet to make a frame, rolling the edges back from the
center for added texture and dimension.
Here is a closer look at how much layering there is - used a lot of foam dots!

I have used the sketch from over at Stuck On U Sketches  which perfectly
fit the circle frame I wanted to cut out.
I only had one photo, as there just aren't that many of my Daddy when he was a little boy.

Thanks for stopping by today!
Happy Veteran's Day!!!
As a retired Marine Corps wife, I know how much work it is to serve your country.
Everyone who does deserves special thanks.

  10. Hi Anita!

You won't believe this....but I found you at the Bo Bunny Challenge! It really IS a small world!

FIRST of all, this layout is STUNNING! I love the layering you did here and how you brought in some warm tones and used the sweet lace. It is just very sweet for a precious photo!

SECONDLY, I am so happy that you and I got to meet each other IRL Friday night at The Crafty Scrapper DT Party!

I've added myself as a follower of your blog. When you get a chance, hop on over to mine.

Have fun this year on TCS DT!

    Hugs,
    Patty
