Time Capsule | The Flamingo Chronicals: Time Capsule

Time Capsule

Yeehaw Y'all - it's Friday!!!
I am ready for the weekend - it has been a busy week!
Last night I went and played Bunco - have you ever played that game? I had never
played it before and it is as little strange at first - we moved tables and partners every 5 minutes
I swear! It was like musical chairs with dice! I have a friend who is walking 62 miles
for breast cancer next month and this was a fundraiser for her. We had a great time!

Since it is Friday we have a new Fabulous Friday Challenge over at Frosted Designs
and this week we are using mists/paints/inks on our projects. Surely you can
play along with us on that - you know you have some of those things in
your stash - get them out and play along!
These photos show a Time Capsule that my Girl Scout Troop made when they were in JR High. It was part of a Badge activity,, so they wrote notes to themselves, added something that represented them and sealed up the capsule. It was to be opened the spring of the SR year of high school. Well you know how sometimes you just forget things,,,,, ummm yeah,,,,, this was in the attic and we forgot about in the rush of SR activities. So when I ran across it the next year, like 18 months late, they opened it then. Still counts, right????

My papers for this were a mix of 7 Gypsies, Harmonie, and Glitz Design. I also used MS punches, Ditto spray ink, Tsukineko inks, Prima and other flowers, Bella BLVD alphas, Ranger Crackle paint, and my sewing machine. The crocheted flower was made by a friend of mine - she is awesome.

I have no idea what stamp sets I used - they were not in the package and I don't remember who made them. I used Ranger Crackle paint on the pennants - and they are from Maya Road.

Be sure to come by and join us at Frosted Designs this week. This was the easiest challenge I
think we have ever had!

Thanks for stopping by today
Anita
