Personalized Easter Bunny with Joy Iron On Letters

With the addition of a granddaughter to our family, I am getting to make all kinds of cute crafts these days.

Last year she was really too young to enjoy Easter, but this year she will be 18 months so the Easter Bunny will be making an appearance!

For this project, I upcycled  a bunny from the huge supply of stuffed animals that my daughters still have here at my house.

It was super easy to add a custom touch to this little guy with Joy iron-on letters. I just ironed the letters on to his ear following the easy directions found here.

What do you have in your home that could use a personal touch?

Adore Baby Frame with Deflecto

Hi everyone!Today I want to share a project with you using the Pink Border Frame 8 1/2 x 11" from Deflecto. Although Valentine's Day was just here I wanted a project that I could display through the year rather than just for a few months.

I started by adding some fun polka dot washing tape around the edges of the frame to highlight color. My background paper is from Authentique - I loved the vintage feel with the keys!

I added some fun felt embellishments to the front of the frame. I have been hoarding saving these forever so I am glad to finally use them! My banner is made using a die cut sheet also from Authentique. I inked each piece and after it adhered I outlined them with black ink to give it even more depth.

Another die cut accent from the same sheet at the top of my photo finishes the project off.

Valentine Cards in a Flash

GMT 1 Yesterday morning I got to make an appearance on Good Morning Texas, representing The Crafty Scrapper, to share a few ideas on making Valentine cards and I wanted to share them with you. They asked for a demo on quick cards as well as cards with lots of bling. (PS - do you see Gena's beautiful banner on the front of the table? I think there are still kits available so please check with the store.)

GMT2The "Hello Sweetheart" card right in the front is made using Echo Park and Authentique paper lines and the glitter hearts are cut from Maya Roads new die "Fanciful Love".

GMT3I used the Fanciful Love die for this card as well - it may be my new favorite tool!
