Today I have my ColourQ #87 DT layout. I love how these colors came together. Arielle does such a great job with these! Here is a look my LO,,,
I have used Bazzill cardstock in white, brown and the new Two Scoops line - love that wonderful stuff!!  and my paper and letter stickers are Creative Imaginations. The paper lace is from K&Co, the flowers Prima, the wood piece from KaiserKraft, the stickers are Echo Park, buttons are from Basic Grey, inks from Tattered Angels and VersaMagic.

I hope you had a wonderful Memorial Day weekend! Thanks for stopping by.

Party Time!

Where does the time go?!?! I can't believe how long it has been since my last post! I am so busy getting ready for my DD's graduation party that I don't seem to have time to do much else these days! Today I have a few pic's of the centerpieces I am making for her party - I am lovin' these medallions and topiaries! Here is a look...

These things are a bit time consuming to make! But I like the end result. And it is a great way to use some paper that I have had around for a while that I might not have used otherwise! The party is in just over a week and a half - then maybe life will return to normal :0)  Thanks for stopping by to take a look and have a great day!

ColourQ #85

Hello Everyone! Life is a whirlwind right now!
My DD graduated college last weekend and we
now have a house full of HER stuff! lol!
So happy to have her home again for a short time though.

This weeks colors were a little out of the norm for me,
but I liked how they looked in the end. Here is a look at my LO,,,

I have used cardstock from Bazzill, PP from Making Memories, Basic Grey and Creative Imaginations, embellies from Prima, Basic Grey, The Girls Paperie and Making Memories, ribbon from MS crafts, and the rub-on is Creative Imaginations.

Here is a look at the Color Palette this week from ColourQ,,,

Alice in Wonderland Topiary

One down and only 7 more to go!
I am making these super cute topiary centerpieces for my DD's graduation party.
We are having an Alice in Wonderland theme.
There are lots of flowers, and colors, and all kinds of things
going on at this party! I am not ashamed to admit, that I
scraplifted this idea from another blogger. You can
check out Kim's wonderful Easter project that I used
for inspiration HERE - it is the cutest thing I have ever seen!
And as soon as I saw it I knew I wanted those for our centerpieces.

Isn't that TEA POT the cutest?!? I just filled it with floral foam,
and stuck in my topiary form. Then I made a bunch of flowers. I
hand cut some from patterned
paper, some were from the Cricut, and of course there
are Primas on there too.

I used a plain wooden letter for the top and
covered it in Doodlebug glitter. Love that stuff!

I covered the styrofoam with pink crumpled tissue
before I started, just to give it a nice base color other than GREEN.
I used small straight pins to stick the flowers on, then used Glue Dots to stick the center flowers on. I filled in with small flowers, ribbons and butterflies. Then I added a little glitter here and there.

I have to say, this took WAY LONGER than I thought it would! I am hoping I will get faster as I go!
Thanks for stopping by, and be sure to check out Kim's fabulous project too!

ColourQ and I am finally BACK!

Today I have my LO for ColourQ #83  We
have a wonderful color combo today!
These are colors I would never put
together on my own, and that
is why I LOVE ColourQ.

Here is my LO - This is one of the shots
we got while taking SR pics of my DD,,,
I have started with a piece of Bazzill white, misted it with Glimmer Mist, and added my Reminisce paper cut out on my Cricut. My other paper is Little Yellow Bicycle, which I have used as an accent and also to make the very cute mini rosettes using the new Tim Holtz die. Love it even more than the original one, much more manageable size to work with. I have sewn in a few places, added some Prima Flowers, some KaiserKraft pearls and some Cosmo Cricket buttons. The vanilla overlay is from Hambly. I have also used Lily Bee, Maya Road and Unique Pages.

Thanks for stopping by, I hope your spring is wonderful! It is still stormy here in the south. Whacky weather almost everyday!
