Gift Card Envelopes with Glue Dots®

Hi everyone! Long time no blog, right :o)

It was a crazy couple of weeks there getting ready for and actually
having camp. We had a great time - little kids building fires
are so cute!

So I am finally getting back into the studio and today I want to share a
project I made as a Thank You gift for our Volunteer Leaders at camp.
At GASC a few weeks ago I was visiting with Wendy Vecchi, She had
the most adorable gift tag on the table using these stamps, and I knew they
would be perfect for our leader gifts.

I used American Crafts paper (the flip side), cutting them all to size and rounding the corners.
Stamps are "Art For You" set from Wendi Vecchi, as is the mask I used. I used
my Black PITT® Artist Pen to trace around the inside of the mask before
removing it and to add accents to the outline afterwards.
I used Craft Glue Dots® to adhere to the glassine envelope.
I used Pop-Up Glue Dots® to adhere my sentiment, so that it would have some
dimension on the project.
Ultra Thin Glue Dots® are the bomb for putting buttons on your projects!
and here are my 40 Gift Card Envelopes, ready for the Starbucks gift cards we
gave to all of our volunteers this year.

Be sure to stop by the Glue Dots® blog to see more great
ideas for crafting and home.

Thanks for stopping by!

1st Camping Trip - ColourQ #193

Hi to all of my blogging friends!
It is getting HOT here in Dallas at last.
We have had the most beautiful spring - I knew it
wouldn't last long!

Today I have my DT project for Colour Q
and I loved this weeks colors!!
I think the Bermuda Bay may be my new favorite color!

Here is a look at my project
I have used MME papers & brads, Bazzill cardstock, die-cut stickers from Creative Imaginations
& Jenni Bowlin,  die-cuts from Heidi Swapp, chipboard from
Technique Tuesday, Tsukineko Inks and my sewing machine.

How cute is the washi tape?? It is MME from the Rhona Farrar collection.
I inked these chipboard pieces and added a little detail with my
PITT® Artist Pen from Faber-Castell.

The words you see here are cut from a piece of paper I have had stuck in my
Travel file for so long I can't remember who made it :( Sorry.
I used my chipboard piece to journal the names of my troop members on.

Thanks so much for stopping by today to see me.

Girl Scout Camp opens in 6 Days
so I am a little hectic right now! After 15 years
you would think I would have this down to a science, right?
Too bad we don't do the same thing every year!

Troop Traditions - Frosted Designs

Howdy to all my blogging friends!
I am so sorry I have been absent this past week.
I run a Girl Scout Camp every summer and it is in 1 week!
I have been super busy prepping to get everything done and
ready for camp. We have 145 at camp this year and
we are set to have a great time :)
This is my 15th year as the Camp Director - it is
such an awesome volunteer position and gives me
so much joy to see those girls having such a great time at camp every year!

Today I have my DT project for Frosted Designs

Here is a look at my project
My papers are Bo Bunny. I have been saving these for a while and this was the perfect layout to
use them on. I have also used Want2Scrap, Heidi Swapp, Leaky Shed Studios,
and Prima. My Inks are from Tsukineko.
The butterflies are from Petaloo and I used the new LuminArt Silks to color them,
them sprinkled with glitter. The Polaroid chippie is Maya Road.
I used modeling paste over my Heidi Swapp mask, and colored it with
Butterscotch Gelotos® from Faber-Castell.
The corner chippied from Leaky Shed Studios was covered in gesso and then I used the same Butterscotch Gelatos® to color it.

Here is the sketch we are working with this time around

Be sure to check out the blog for lots of great inspiration!
We have such a talented group of ladies on this team!!

I am linking up at the following challenges:
Use Your Stuff - Something that reminds you of summer
4 Crafty Chicks - Flowers

Thanks for stopping by today!
I will be back to my regular posting as soon as camp is wrapped up.
I love this one week a year that I am able to give to the girls
in my community and it is such a joy to me!
See you soon!

Summer Wishes Class Sneak Peek

Hello to all my lovely blogging buddies!

Today I have another class sneak peek to share with
you. I might have time to scrap when I get
done with these classes :)

This little album is hand bound, and the cover wraps all the way around
to clip in the front. We will be using the new Echo Park papers for this one.

If you are interested in taking the class or purchasing a kit
contact The Crafty Scrapper directly.

Have a fabulous rest of the weekend!
