Sparkle N Sprinkle Reveal March 1 | The Flamingo Chronicals: Sparkle N Sprinkle Reveal March 1

Sparkle N Sprinkle Reveal March 1

Howdy everyone!

Welcome to Sparkle N Sprinkle's March 1 Reveal.

This month at SNS are featuring five versatile stamp sets.
Two of the sets are perfect for Christmas.
Many of our customers said they promise themselves to make Christmas cards a little bit each month, all year long, but they fail to find the time. So this month's technique kit uses the pretty Red Cardinal drawn by Rosiland Solomon.

The Winter Cardinal stamp set is available by itself on line.
It is also included in Jazzy Jill's Technique Video for the month.

The first of the month also means a new challenge at SNS Creative Challenges where the theme is always
"Anything Goes with Loose Glitter, Embossing Powder and/or Flocking."

My project today uses the new SNS Crystal Medallion!
I LOVE my DD2s Senior Portrait- we are
all about the bluebonnets here in Texas!

#864 Crystal Medallions

Also being released this month:

Winter Cardinal #518

Iris Frame #532

Springtime Spunky #537

Five Winners (one for each new stamp set) will be selected by Random.org during the Designers Mystery Party. Winners will also get to choose one Glitter and one Embossing Powder to go with their new stamp set.

How the Mystery Party works:

On Five of the participating blogs below, a Commenter will be selected to receive the prize
No one knows who the five Mystery Designers are, so you may wish to visit each blog to leave a comment.

The winners will be announced on March 3 on Facebook, the SNS blog, and on our blogs:

I have used Bo Bunny papers and Bazzill cardstock for this layout, along with

I stamped my image with VersaMark and covered it with Pearlescent Chalk from Pebbles.
My sentiment is from #491 Tulips, which I stamped on plain white cardstock, die cut
with my nesties, die cut a second layer of cardstock that I covered with 2 1/2" Tear-Ific Tape,
then burnished with GM2014 Peruvian Lily .

My chippie is from Dusty Attic and I have heat embossed it using

This little chippie from Blue Fern Studios I painted white, then coated
just the tips with EP121 Cotton Candy.

For this butterfly, I printed the image on 99602 Embossable Clear Acetate,
roughly cut around it, then applied #SAT11 2 1/" Tear-ific Tape to the back.
I then fussy cut the image, and used my Tonic knife to cut the paper backing
just along the body of the butterfly. Remove the rest of the paper backing,
and sprinkle with glitters- I used G1028 Carnation and G1090 Cyclamen.
Remove paper backing from body, then adhere to layout!
Really easier than it sounds here- I promise!

  5. First, you have a lovely daughter! What a wonderful memory you have created with this awesome layout. It was such fun seeing the pictures with all the sparkle & details, and reading how you created them. Really liking the subtle way you used that snowflake, and I have never tried using chalk with versamark, so thanks much for that new idea! TFS & Hugs.
